Welcome to the Virginia Collage Society Website

"... to foster the appreciation and interest in the recognized medium of collage. Collage has only been identified and defined during the twentieth century. The NCS, Inc. advances the stature of collage as a major art medium and assists in the public education through exhibits and workshops, lectures and publications."

President’s Message

Happy Spring Everyone ! The beautiful sights of Nature in spring are invigorating.

Thank you so much for the card you sent.

My back is healing nicely thanks to an expert surgeon. Now I wait to see a pain management specialist for the pinched nerves.

I do hope you are all well. Please let me know when you have medical issues and need support from your fellow artists. It is nice to know we have each other.

Wish I could have attended the last two meetings. There was a great attendance and inspiring guest speakers. I look forward to meeting our new member – Ichshe Sandler.

Where has the time gone? Was it just a year ago we were participating in the National Collage Society Postcard Show held at the Glen Allen Cultural Arts Center.

It has been wonderful keeping up with you, and the many art shows you have had, via the email notices.

Please let us know when you move, change phone numbers or email so we can keep everyone up to date.

I look forward to seeing you all soon at the May 18 meeting at 1:30.

Happy Creating, Becky
