Fall Greetings, School has started, vacations are over, and the Crossroads show is upon us. Welcome back! Ready or not, we are all glad to be here and look forward to the show, and our evening together on Friday, September 18th in Gallery I. Wear a nametag so people can ask questions about our group and collage. Remember we are here to educate the masses about “Collage” as a Fine Art. The Virginia Collage Society was founded by Dare Boles more than a decade ago as an affiliate of the National Collage Society. We have most of our original members still with us, but we are growing and constantly evolving. Our meetings, workshops, and exhibits are always fun, eclectic, surprising, and friendly. We strive for excellence in our work, but we embrace difference and diversity. Our mission is to promote collage and assemblage as fine art, and to learn from the process. Visitors and new members are always welcome. We meet bi-monthly at Crossroads Art Center in Richmond, VA.
