President’s Message
Happy New Year !
Here we are at the 10th year of the 1st decade of the 21st century. January is the time our dues of $25 are “due”.
Please bring your check to the January meeting or mail them to Dare Boles.
Speaking of money, Mary Melton, our Treasurer for the past year must pass the books back in as of this month. So we need a new treasurer. Anyone willing to volunteer can offer at any time.
Thank you, Mary, for your expertise and diligence you brought to the position.
We are fortunate for all the cold weather of late - if it keeps us inside in the studio more, working on our art.
Hope to see you at the next meeting on January 18th at 1:30.
Becky
January Program
Santa De Haven will be our speaker for the January meeting. She curated our show at 1212 Gallery and will talk to us about her work. She also has agreed to critique some of our collages.
Each member may bring one or two collages but only one might be critiqued, due to time. You do not have to participate but we all learn from others critiques.
Our next meeting is January 18th at Crossroads Art Center. We will meet at 1:30 for the Business Meeting and follow with an exciting program.
Dues for the 2010 year are now payable. Make check of $25 payable to VCS and can be sent to Mary Melton, Bill Kinsey, or Dare Boles.
